AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE N0, 5388
SUBMITTING TO THE VOTERS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, THE QUESTION WHETHER
IT WILL ISSUE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $468x000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PAYING PART OF THE COST OF PURCHASING A SITE
FOR, AND CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT OF A
MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, did on the 30th day of November, 19360 duly pass Ordi-
nance No. 5388 submitting to the voters of the City of Little

Rock, Arkansas, the question whether it will issue general ob-
ligation bonds in the amount of $468,000 for the purpose of
a
paying part of the cost of purchasing a site for, and construction

• and equipment of a municipal auditorium; and

W WHEREAS, it now appears unto the City Council that

it is necessary and advisable that said Ordinance No. 5388
be repealed in its entirety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL

Section 1, That Ordinance No. 5388 submitting to
the voters of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the question
whether it will issue general obligation bonds in the amount of
$4680000 for the purpose of paying part of the cost of purchasing
a site for, and construction and equipment of a municipal auditorium,
be, and the same is, hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 2. This Ordinance being necessary for the
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and be
