1069W RESOLUT I ON. 10 6 9. Within tree past few days death has removed from our midst Mr. Joe M. Frank, one of our most philanthropic and oldest citizens. Mr. Frank settled in Little Rock in its early days and witnessed the city grow from a small village, whose only touch with the outside world was thru occasional steamboats, to a large, pros- perous, commercial center. He was as proud of its developement and progress as it was of him and his continued benevolences and our City was as grieved at his departure upon his long journey as he was to leave us, We miss him. He possessed a great, warm heart; never asked a favor but sought a. chance to lend a helping hand. always x§Lxx -tkzxi2oLk- Qx:kxfaL3tX:katy§MxxktxrR titxditxRkkmmx To Mr. Frank and his generous traits, we are indebted for our new City Hospital, for our beautiful Elks building, and for the maintainance of and as- sistance with many of our charities. His love for humanity and his generousity was so great it could not remain hidden. His will reveals the beautiful character of the man. Now therefore, Be it resolved, that in the death of Mr. Frank we have lost a valuable and well beloved citizen, the needy of our city have lost a staunch friend and our charitable institutions a zealous supporter. His life here dnxxmmx assures him xxxxx " an advanced station over there ". 1dopted: June 7, 1920. Attest: lx! ,jity ulerk. Approved: iTa yor .
