A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED IN FAVOR OF LAVERNE
WILLIAMS PURSUANT TO AN OPTION TO PURCHASE ENTERED
INTO BY THE LITTLE ROCK PORT AUTHORITY AND LAVERNE
WILLIAMS AS TO TRACT P, AREA 201, LITTLE ROCK PORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK, SAID DEED TO CONVEY THE LAND AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN AND TO BE DELIVERED UPON PAYMENT
OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Laverne Williams has optioned to purchase
approximately .95 acres of land described as Tract P, Area 201,
Little Rock Port Industrial Park, pursuant to an option to pur-
chase agreement, dated October 31, 1983. The tract of land under
consideration is more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land situated in the Northeast 1/4
Southwest 1/4 of Section 16, Township 1 North,
Range 11 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the
Southwest 1/4 Southwest 1/4 Section 16, Town-
ship 1 North, Range 11 West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian; thence along the South line of said
Section 16, N 880 47' 31" W, 892.07 feet; thence
along the West line of Tract C, Area 101 of the
Little Rock Port Industrial Park, and the southerly
and northerly extensions of said line N 00° 12' 52"
E, 1893.21 feet to a point on the North right -of -way
line of Lindsey Road, thence along said North right -
of --way line of Lindsey Road, S 890 47' 08" E, 1573.19
feet to a point on the Southeasterly right -of -way line
of a Little Rock Port Authority Railroad Spur, said
point being the Point of Beginning; thence along said
Southeasterly right -of -way line along a curve to the
right an arc distance of 353.81 feet, said curve having
a radius of 363.07 feet, and a chord bearing and dis-
tance of N 430 36' 49" E, 339.98 feet; thence continuing
along said Southeasterly right -of -way line N 71° 31' 52"
E, 12.27 feet; thence S 00° 12' 52" W, 250.95 feet to a
point on the North right -of -way line of Lindsey Road;

47' 08" W, 245.22 feet to the Point of Beginning;
and containing .95 acres, more or less.
Section 2. As per the terms of the option to purchase
agreement, dated October.31, 1983, Laverne Williams will pay the
sum of $15,000.00 for the property described above.
Section�:3. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby approves the sale of the property described herein to
Laverne Williams, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute for and,on behalf of the City of Little Rock a Warranty
Deed and the appropriate Plat and Bill of Assurance, conveying said
property to Laverne Williams; and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to attest said instruments and to deliver
the same to the Office of the City Attorney for delivery of same to
Laverne Williams upon full payment of consideration in the sum of
$15,000.00.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from the date of its adoption.
