7321M= r M r M = = == M= i • • RESOLUTION NO. 7,321 A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CITY AND CAT EMPLOYEES, UTILITY COMPANIES AND THEIR EMPLOYEES FOR THE EFFORT IN OVERTIME WORK DURING THE RECENT BAD WEATHER AND COMMENDING THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR THEIR PATIENCE. WHEREAS, the adverse weather conditions in January and February 1985 necessitated numerous hours of overtime work and extra effort on behalf of the City; and WHEREAS, because of poor weather conditions, sanitation collection service was reduced and City streets were often covered with ice and snow. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby commend all City employees, including the Public Works Department, the Police Department, the Fire Department, the Animal Control staff, the Human and General Services Department, the Little Rock Zoo, the City Manager's Office, Central Arkansas Transit employees, the Little Rock Water Department and the Little Rock Wastewater Utility for the extra effort in overtime work, performing urgent services with goodwill and good humor for the public during the adverse weather conditions. SECTION 2. The citizens of the City of Little Rock are hereby commended for their patience and understanding during the adverse weather conditions.
